Air Force bomb disposal teams draw 731 missions in March

Air Force bomb disposal teams were called on to perform more than 700 missions in Iraq and Afghanistan during March, according to the Air Force.

In Iraq, explosive ordnance disposal units went on 595 missions, while in Afghanistan the total was 136 missions. Of those Iraqi and Afghan assignments, 324 dealt with roadside bombs and other improvised explosive devices.
